Macmillan Event

On Thursday 26th September we will be hosting a Macmillan “Coffee and Cake” event at both our settings.

Woodlands Barnes Lane will be hosting a garden party for all of their children and families in the afternoon. We invite adults only-parents, grandparents, friends and family (the more the merrier!) from 3.30pm until 4pm to join us for coffee and cake, for a small donation in our main garden.

From 4pm parents are invited to collect their children, or bring them in if they don’t attend this day for a garden party. There will be more cakes and treats to purchase, garden games to enjoy and face painting (small charge).

Please be aware, there will be no hot drinks served in the garden from 4pm in line with our hot drinks policy. We will however have cold refreshments on sale.

Don’t worry if you can’t make the event, we will have cake sales every evening in both settings in the evenings every day of this week.

To make this event as successful as possible we really do rely on your support. Please if you are good at baking or even if you aren’t, bake or buy delicious treats for us to sell on behalf of Macmillan Cancer. If you would like to contribute, please feel free to drop your cakes in to us at any point throughout the week, clearly labelled to tell us if they contain any allergens if you can! Please bear in mind we do have children and staff with severe nut allergies, so if you could avoid baking or purchasing cakes with pure nuts on this would be really helpful.
