Road Safety Week

23rd May 2017

Last Week we learnt all about Road Safety! We talked to the children about how important it is to stay safe by the roads and how we can do this. We learnt about traffic lights and what each colour means, different crossings, how to cross the road safety, how important it is to hold hands with adults and even had a go at practicing using the crossing safely ourselves on lots of trips out.

We also thought it was very important that we help our parents and grown ups understand how important it is that they use crossings safely, following and listen to road signs and stay safe near roads, as they are our role models! So we spent some time throughout the week giving stickers to our parents that used the crossing when picking us up or dropping us off and explaining to parents that didn’t use the crossing how important they are.

Here are some photo’s from the week….
